Important: to guarantee your refund
- Remove the applied license in dbSlice (Help › About dbSlice › Remove license) on every device where it was activated.
- Email [email protected] within the 14-day period with the purchaser email and order reference, stating that the license has been removed.
In our experience, refunds are completed in 3 to 5 business days on average. The time depends mostly on identifying the order and the purchaser. After support replies, the payment platform itself sends the refund confirmation to the email address used at purchase. Following these two steps avoids delays and inconvenience.
14-day money-back guarantee
You may request a refund for an eligible dbSlice Desktop or Windows Server purchase within 14 calendar days of the original transaction date. The same guarantee, process and exceptions apply to both editions.
How to request
Use the order-support link in your Paddle receipt or email [email protected] with the purchaser email and order reference. Do not send payment-card information.
What happens next
For a refund, the license must be removed in the application (About → Remove license); if the computer has no internet access, support removes it. Refunds are processed through the Merchant of Record and returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing time depends on the payment method and financial institution. The associated license may be deactivated after approval.
Exceptions
The guarantee does not cover separate consulting services, custom development, services already performed, fraudulent purchases, abuse, or purchases refunded previously. Mandatory statutory rights are not limited by this policy.
Technical issues
Please contact support promptly if compatibility or activation prevents normal use. We will attempt reasonable troubleshooting without delaying a valid request submitted within the 14-day period.
